Who Qualifies?

• youth between 15 & 30
• eligible to work in Canada
• fulltime students registered for school in September

How do I apply?

• complete an application (PDF)
• bring completed application, student ID and one additional piece of ID to the Job Connect office in Citi Plaza

Employers

What is it?

• A $2 per-hour hiring incentive for employers who hire a student during the summer.

Who can apply?

• Private, not-for-profit or broader public sector employers operating and offering a summer job to students age 15 to 30 who are returning to school in the fall.

When to apply?

• Before hiring a summer student.

How to apply?

• If you are not related to the student, are not displacing existing workers, and have not already hired the student, print and complete this application (PDF)

This program is designed to encourage employers to hire students and assist students in gaining valuable work experience.
